Night time is dark enough to see the aurora borealis from late August/ early September onwards. This is also the time when you can see auroras reflecting on water, just stunning!
Hiking can be done anywhere from June to October.
Beginners wilderness skills & foraging
Ever wanted to learn how to make fire with flint and steel? Or how to identify edible plants while out in the wilderness? This and much more will be touched on during the 2-3 hours you will spend with our guide in the forests of Lapland. You will get to make your own fire with traditional equipment, learn what you can forage from the forest to make the fire, and maybe even cook a little snack! Price 99€ per person. A Private Northern Lights photography tour - by 4x4 SUV
Enjoy the magical Auroras in your own private group! After pick up with our comfortable 4x4 SUV we will head to some of our favourite locations for spotting the northern lights. Following cloud movements with apps, we will always maximize our chances of getting some clear skies. Your experienced photographer and guide will bring a DSLR camera along to take photos of your group and any auroras that we see. We will share the processed photos to you online afterwards. Guided hike exploring fells of Lapland
Within less than an hour of driving we have multiple gorgeous fells to choose from! We will hike along the same routes we ourselves like to take and are very familiar with. Along the way your guide will teach you local wildlife and plants and if the season allows you can forage for mushrooms and berries along the way.
You will be served tea and coffee and home-made flapjack during a break on the hike. Duration 5hrs. Price 145€ per person. Group size 1-4 persons
Private tour at Ylläs-Pallastunturi National park with fireside cooking
A tradtional kota will be our base where your guide will teach you about traditional ways of making a fire and you will get to join in cooking over it too! Marshmallows, pancakes and roasted sausages with condiments are delicious when made over an open fire. We will provide a camera and photos of you can be taken in the stunning scenery around the kota.
